Three Forerunner Of The King

• There always be someone who go before the king to prepare the way for him. The first one was Elijah, there was 450 false prophets of baal in Israel, and Israel had fallen into deep apostasy of idolatry worshiping baal a pagan god. Led by these false prophets, under the inspiration of (Satan), so there was no dew nor rain for 3 years. So the Lord told Elijah to go show himself to Ahab, and Elijah said to Ahab gather all Israel and the 450 false prophets unto mount Carmel. And "Elijah said unto the people how long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord be God follow him : but Baal then follow him."(1Kings 18:21) There was a test between Israel God, and the pagan god by that the god that would bring fire down from heaven would be the true God. The Lord God of Israel was the only God that brought fire down from heaven, all the people of Israel said the Lord he is the God. And Elijah slew all 450 false prophets of (Satan), Elijah pray for rain and the rain came. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel..."Elijah girded up his lions, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel."(1Kings 18:46)
• Forerunner Prepare The Way For The King
• The second forerunner John the Baptist (Elijah) John1:23 "John I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness make straight the way of the Lord." John went before Christ baptizing and preaching repent for the kingdom of God have come Jesus Christ the King of Israel. John the baptist was not the man Elijah in person, but was alike in character and spirit. Christ made that statement in Matt.11:10,14 "For this is he, of whom it is written, behold, I send my Messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee....And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah which was for to come."
• The third and last forerunner(Elijah)Jesus Christ Church clothe in His righteousness the(Woman)Rev.12:1,17;19:10 "Which keep the commandments of God, and have....the testimony of Jesus Christ, the spirit of prophecy." To prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Malachi 4:5 "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord." Not the man Elijah himself, but the church of Jesus Christ will have the character and spirit of Jehovah God, in the likeness of Elijah.
